On 10 September 2026, the German Business Association (DWV) welcomed Dr. Norbert Schultes and Omar Scharifi, representatives of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), for a meeting with members of its Board and Advisory Council.
The discussion focused on current developments in relations between Armenia, Germany, and the European Union, the diversification of Armenia’s trade relations, and opportunities to further strengthen German-Armenian economic cooperation.
As part of their visit to Armenia, the BMWE representatives also held meetings with representatives of the Armenian government.
The German Business Association values direct dialogue at both political and economic levels and remains committed to supporting these processes by representing the perspectives and interests of its member companies, fostering new partnerships, and strengthening business connections between Armenia and Germany.
