Networking Event at Zangak

On 7 October, the German Business Association member Zangak organized a networking event for the members of the association. In the first part of the event, participants were given an exciting guided tour providing insights into the work of the Zangak bookstore, the Zangak publishing house, and the Tatev Educational Center with its “Manana” and “Universe” learning centers.The guests were introduced to the various stages of book production – from the initial idea to the finished printed copy. Afterwards, participants engaged in stimulating conversations with the company’s founders about current developments in the education sector and the new textbooks being introduced in Armenian schools. The event concluded with a delightful reception at the Zangak bookstore, where guests were able to enjoy culinary specialties prepared by the students of the Manana Educational Center.
“Category Management” Masterclass

On 25 September, the German Business Association organized a workshop for its members entitled “Category Management: A Key to Effective Business in Modern Retail.” The training was led by Haykanush Tonoyan, an expert from the ECR (Efficient Consumer Response) Association. During the event, participants learned about the category management method, its key features, its application by leading global companies, and the effectiveness of this approach. Different types of shoppers and their behaviours in various situations were also discussed. Theoretical knowledge was reinforced through practical group exercises.
Be My Guest at Aratashen Winery

On 23 September, the German Business Association, together with its members, visited the “Aratashen” winery. The winery is one of our valued member companies. During a guided tour of the vineyards and production facilities, we gained fascinating insights into the company’s history, mission, and the diversity of its wines. Afterwards, we had the pleasure of tasting the red and white wines of the “Schunch” line, as well as enjoying an aged wine from the winery’s cellar. SES Sinior Expert in Noyan Factory

Our member company, Noyan, recently hosted Mr. Otto, a German expert from the Senior Expert Service (SES), as part of an SES assignment.The company worked closely with Mr. Otto to develop and refine various product recipes. The assignment was very successful. Noyan is one of Armenia’s leading food producers, offering a portfolio of over 80 products. The company enjoys an excellent reputation both in Armenia and internationally.We are confident that the products developed through this collaboration will soon be available and well-received on the market. SES assignments represent an important step toward sustainable growth, introducing fresh ideas and applying German expertise and quality standards within Armenian enterprises.
Be My Guest by Noyan

On July 8, as part of the traditional “Be My Guest” event series, the German Business Association visited its member, Noyan Factory.A guided tour was organized, during which we were introduced to the company’s history and mission, as well as its production processes and product range. Following the tour, there was an opportunity to continue conversations in a welcoming atmosphere over a tasting of the company’s diverse products. We also had the chance to sample a new product developed in collaboration with a SES Senior Expert from Germany – a product that will hopefully be available on the Armenian market soon.
DWV Summer Party

On June 26, the German Business Association’s summer party took place – a vibrant and enjoyable evening in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.We were delighted to welcome a large number of guests, which once again reflected the strong interest and active engagement of our members and partners. The event aimed to foster deeper connections among members and provide a space for new encounters and meaningful conversations.In addition to representatives from our member companies, both local and international partners were present. Our special thanks go to Her Excellency Mrs. Claudia Busch, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia, for her participation and the valuable dialogue with our members.
German Business Association’s Visit to Neuroklinik, German Center for Neurology

On June 19, the German Business Association visited the German Center for Neurology, NeuroKlinik.During the visit, we gained insight into the clinic’s activities and mission, its facilities, innovative approaches, and the use of modern technologies.The clinic is equipped with modern medical devices and meets the highest quality standards.The center’s team consists of doctors who have studied, worked, or conducted research in Germany.The event was also attended by Mr. Erik Tintrup, Chargé d’affaires of the German Embassy in Armenia.At the end of the visit, a membership application was signed between the German Business Association and NeuroKlinik.We are pleased to welcome such an advanced center as a member of our association.
Webinar “German Economy in Transition – New Opportunities for Armenian Companies.”

On June 12, we held our webinar, “German Economy in Transition – New Opportunities for Armenian Companies.” We were pleased to welcome our colleagues, Jana Augustin from hannoverimpuls GmbH, and Dr. Veronika Luebke from Bridge One Seven GmbH, who shared valuable insights into:- The current economic situation in Germany- Upcoming reforms and plans of the new German government- Business opportunities in the Hannover region- Funding and support programs available for international entrepreneursDr. Veronika Luebke also shared compelling case studies, highlighting Armenian companies that have successfully opened branches in Germany with support from HannoverImpuls and Bridge One Seven.The event was moderated by Mrs. Meri Navasardyan, Executive Director of the German Business Association.
DWV members’ regional trip to Gyumri

On June 6, the German Business Association and its members traveled to Gyumri to visit the member companies of its association in the Shirak region. The first stop was the DWV member Gyumri Beer factory, where we learned about the history of beer in Armenia, particularly in Gyumri, as well as the history of our member company, including its product types, quality standards, and flavors. We had the opportunity to taste different types of beer and take a tour of the factory. Afterward, we headed to the Berlin ART Hotel, where we had an organized tour through the hotel area. We learned about the hotel’s history and concept, explored all the available amenities and room types, had the opportunity to see works by local artists displayed in the hotel, and visited the RoofTop25 tourist center located on the hotel’s roof. Berlin Art Hotel highly values local artists and supports them by showcasing their works within the hotel. The hotel is also one of Armenia’s first social enterprises, with profits directed towards funding the adjacent polyclinic and other charitable initiatives. We are grateful to our member organizations for their warm hospitality and a wonderful day.
DWV members’ Regular Meetup on Economic Topics

On April 30, the German Business Association held its first regular meetup on economic topics. The special guest of the event was Garik Badalyan, representative of AraratBank. The discussion focused on bonds, examples of their use, associated risks, and methods.The main goal of these economic meetups is networking and open discussion around business topics.Each session features a special guest and a dedicated topic.
